About Cadres
Mechanical Engineering Student’s Association framed the Cadre system for the overall development of the student members and to reach out to every individual student of the department. By all-around development, MESA aims at strengthening communication skills, aptitude quotient, and leadership skills, to enhance team spirit, and most important to create positive competition among the students. MESA framed four cadres and their names are as follows; Aeris, Terra, Acqua, and Ignis.
Below performance, rating refers to the points earned by inter cadre competitions like different types of the quiz, group discussions, interviews, etc.
Cadre Activities

Points Criteria
Points for Box Cricket:
- Batting:- For every 10 runs scored by a batsman, the cadre to which the batsman belongs will be awarded 1 point.
- Bowling:- For every wicket taken by a bowler, the cadre of the bowler will be awarded 5 points.
- Fielding:- For every catch taken by a fielder resulting in an out, the cadre will be awarded 5 points.
- Man of the Match:- The cadre of the player selected as the Man of the Match will be awarded 10 points.
- Winning Team:- Each cadre, according to the number of participants in the winning team, will be awarded 10 points per person.
- Runners-up:- Each cadre, according to the number of participants in the runner-up team, will be awarded 5 points per person.
Points for Social Media Posting:
- Points for video submission is 3 points.
- Points for 1st position:- 7 points
- Points for 2nd position:- 5 points
- Points for 3rd position:- 3 points
